This Privacy Policy explains what information CouponsPromoCode.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a coupon and deals website; you can browse and use every coupon on this site without creating an account.
Information we collect
- Usage data. Like most websites, we automatically receive technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site. We use this to understand what content is useful and to keep the site secure.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email, and content you provide, plus your IP address and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection.
- Coupon submissions and contact messages. If you submit a coupon or email us, we receive the details you send, including your email address, and use them only to handle your request.
- Newsletter (if you subscribe). Your email address, used only to send you the deals you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and consent
We use cookies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. A cookie consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though some features may behave differently.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to see aggregated statistics about how visitors use the site — for example, which stores and categories are most popular. Google may set cookies and process your IP address as part of this service. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Affiliate links and third-party merchants
Coupon and deal links on our site are typically affiliate links. When you click one, the destination store or an affiliate network may set cookies to attribute your visit, and we may earn a commission on your purchase at no extra cost to you. Once you leave our site, the store’s own privacy policy applies — we do not receive your payment details, order contents, or account information from the stores you shop at.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website and its content
- To verify, publish, and manage user-submitted coupons
- To respond to messages sent to us
- To detect spam and protect the site against abuse
- To measure aggregate site usage (analytics)
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site: our hosting provider, analytics (Google), our cookie-consent tool, and spam-detection services for comments. If you use a Gravatar-linked email when commenting, an anonymized hash may be checked against the Gravatar service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep data
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up comments display correctly. Contact emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics settings and is aggregated, not tied to your identity by us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or receive a copy of it. Since we collect very little personal data, such requests are usually simple: email us at earnperinstall@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to hundreds of external stores and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site where you enter personal or payment information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
